Pforzheim to host Landes-Musik-Festival in 2027

Pforzheim will host the Landes-Musik-Festival on June 19, 2027. As the largest amateur music festival in Baden-Württemberg, the event will feature choirs, music associations, orchestras, and various ensembles from across the state.

The festival will utilize numerous stages, squares, churches, and event spaces throughout the city to showcase a wide range of musical styles, including traditional brass bands, classical and modern choral music, and chamber music. The event is organized by the Landesmusikverband Baden-Württemberg (LMV) in cooperation with the Badischer Chorverband (BCV).

In addition to celebrating musical diversity, the 2027 festival will highlight the social significance of choral singing. Georg Wacker, President of the LMV, noted that music serves to bring people together and foster community, while Mayor Peter Boch expressed enthusiasm for enhancing Pforzheim’s profile as a cultural and festival city.
