P&G Japan launches new Bold detergent commercial featuring Fuma Kikuchi

P&G Japan has announced a new television commercial campaign for its laundry detergent brand, Bold Gel Ball 4D. The campaign features Fuma Kikuchi, a member of the group timelesz, in his recurring role as the “Bold Laundry Daimyo.”

In this latest installment, the series introduces new characters: former baseball player Masumi Kuwata as the “Elder” (Dairo) and model Matt as the “Super Good Bird” (Cho Iitoko-dori). The commercials utilize a historical setting, featuring comedic elements such as choreographed dancing and a dramatic pitching motion by Kuwata to symbolize the elimination of odors.

In addition to the television spots, P&G will release a special web movie on September 19 that provides a documentary-style look at the filming process, highlighting the interactions between the cast members.
