PGA TOUR announces 2026 Biltmore Championship in Asheville
The PGA TOUR will return to the mountains of North Carolina in 2026 with the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville. Scheduled for September 17–20, 2026, the tournament serves as the opening event of the FedExCup Fall.
The competition will be held at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, a course designed by Jack Nicklaus located near the Blue Ridge Mountains. This marks the first time the PGA TOUR has held a professional tournament in Asheville since the Land of the Sky Open in 1942, an event won by Ben Hogan.
The tournament features a 132-player field competing for a $5 million total purse, with the winner set to receive nearly $1 million. The event provides players with critical opportunities to earn FedExCup points to improve their standings during the fall season.
