PGE GiEK GKS Bełchatów signs Alan Karolewski and loses season opener

PGE GiEK GKS Bełchatów has signed 16-year-old striker Alan Karolewski to his first professional contract, which is set to run until at least June 30, 2028. A product of the club's academy, Karolewski previously developed his skills in England at Flackwell Heath F.C. and 4 Future Pro FC before returning to Poland.

In recent competitive play, Karolewski demonstrated his potential by scoring three goals and providing one assist in eight matches for the club's second team. His versatility allows him to play both as a central striker and on the wings.

On the pitch, PGE GiEK GKS Bełchatów opened their 2026/2027 Łódzka IV Liga season with a 1-0 away defeat against Orzeł Parzęczew. The match's only goal was scored by Mateusz Michalski in the 39th minute. The team, which features nine new players in its starting lineup, will face Polonia Piotrków Trybunalski in their next match on August 15.
