PGE Start Lublin wins Zdzisław Niedziela Memorial

PGE Start Lublin won the Zdzisław Niedziela Memorial basketball tournament. In the final, Lublin overcame a 21-point deficit in the last quarter to defeat MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza with a score of 85:80. Lucas Willimason led the victory for Lublin with 28 points, while Jaizec Lottie contributed 20 points.

The tournament was held to honor the memory of Zdzisław Niedziela, a legendary figure in Lublin basketball who served as a player and coach for Start Lublin. MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza secured second place, while Legia Warszawa finished in third.

Earlier in the competition, MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza defeated Legia Warszawa 87:86 in the semifinals, and PGE Start Lublin beat Tauron GTK Gliwice 77:69.
