Phú Quang memorial concert to be held at Hồ Gươm Opera House

The music program ‘Phú Quang – Còn mãi một tình yêu’ (Phú Quang – An Eternal Love) will be held on October 12 at the Hồ Gươm Opera House in Hanoi. The event marks the fifth anniversary of the passing of composer Phú Quang and serves as a tribute to his musical legacy.

Organized by Phú Quang Music & Arts and the Hồ Gươm Opera House, the concert features a unique collaboration involving the composer's three children: Nguyễn Trinh Hương (Artistic Director), Nguyễn Giáng Hương (Editor), and Nguyễn Phú Vương (Visual Designer). The program is designed around the theme ‘The Room of Memories’ and will be hosted by People's Artist Lê Khanh, who will share personal stories about the composer.

The musical structure combines symphonic elements conducted by Trần Nhật Minh with contemporary arrangements of familiar songs by Trần Việt Anh. The performance aims to highlight both the symphonic depth and the emotional connection Phú Quang had with the city of Hanoi.
