Pham Gia Tuc to lead Vietnam's housing and real estate steering committee
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has issued Decision No. 1666/QD-TTg to restructure the Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and the Real Estate Market. Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has been appointed as the Head of the committee, with Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh serving as the Deputy Head.
The committee is an interdisciplinary body designed to assist the Prime Minister in researching, directing, and coordinating the resolution of significant interdisciplinary issues regarding housing policy and the real estate market that exceed the authority of individual ministries or local governments. The Ministry of Construction will act as the committee's standing agency.
In a separate administrative move, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang has been appointed as the Head of the National Steering Committee for ODA and Concessional Loans, following Decision No. 1659/QD-TTg.
