Phan Tan Dat has been elected Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2026–2029 term. This appointment follows the first congress of the newly unified association, which merged the young entrepreneur groups from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

He also highlighted the importance of digital transformation, innovation, and the development of technology-driven businesses to serve as economic leaders.
