Developer S‑Game announced that its action‑RPG Phantom Blade Zero has reached the "gold" stage, confirming that development is complete. Pre‑orders will open on 11 August 2026 (7 PM PT / 10 PM ET) and simultaneously on the PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a corresponding launch in Europe on 12 August at 04:00 CET. The pre‑order launch will be accompanied by an 11‑minute gameplay trailer that will showcase new story content, characters, combat and “something unexpected.”

Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for worldwide release on 29 October 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The game follows the assassin Soul, who has only 66 days to live and must uncover a conspiracy while battling foes in a world that blends Chinese Wuxia, steampunk and the studio’s self‑coined “Kungfupunk” style, built with Unreal Engine 5 and advanced motion‑capture technology. No Xbox version has been announced.

The announcement also notes a delayed release (originally September 9) to allow polishing of character models and performance optimisation, and mentions a planned Fortnite crossover for 2026.
