Phantom Blade Zero pre-orders open with Donnie Yen collaboration

S-GAME has announced that pre-orders for the action RPG Phantom Blade Zero are now live for PlayStation 5 and PC. The game, described as a “kung-fu-punk” title, is scheduled for release on October 29, 2026.

To celebrate the launch of pre-orders, Sony will host a dedicated State of Play broadcast on August 17, featuring approximately 20 minutes of new gameplay. The presentation is expected to showcase the game’s dynamic combat system, character customization, and the “Phantom World” setting.

A major highlight of the production is the involvement of martial arts icon Donnie Yen. Yen has served as a creative consultant since 2023 to ensure authentic kung fu choreography and will also provide the face and motion capture for the character Mó Yuan. The studio utilized advanced motion capture techniques to record combat at full speed to shape the game’s mechanics.

Official PC technical requirements have been released, noting that an SSD is mandatory. While the game is optimized for entry-level hardware like the GTX 1660, high-end features such as 4K Path Tracing will require an RTX 5080. The Standard Edition is priced at 69.99 Euro, with a Deluxe Edition available for 79.99 Euro.
