Phantom Busters manga announced for 2027 anime adaptation

The supernatural manga series Phantom Busters, created by Neoshoco and serialized in Shueisha’s Jump SQ., has been officially announced for a TV anime adaptation scheduled to debut in 2027.

The series follows a group of high school students, including Kotaro Tamon, a student capable of communicating with spirits, and Mogari Shishikuro, an exorcist with the ability to consume spirits. The story blends supernatural elements with comedy and adolescent life.

The author, Neoshoco, expressed great enthusiasm for the project, stating that the series’ comedic energy will likely be even more prominent in animated form.
