Phantom wallet to end Sui blockchain support on September 24

The cryptocurrency wallet Phantom has announced it will end support for the Sui blockchain on September 24, 2026. Following this deadline, users will no longer be able to view balances, send transactions, swap assets, or interact with decentralized applications (dApps) on the Sui network through the Phantom interface.

Phantom and Sui described the decision as a mutual conclusion to their collaboration, which began in early 2025. While the integration is being withdrawn, Phantom clarified that users will not lose their assets. SUI tokens and other Sui-based assets will remain on the blockchain and can be accessed using the same recovery credentials through other compatible wallets, such as Slush.

To facilitate the transition, Phantom is offering two primary options: users can migrate their assets to a different compatible wallet or swap their native SUI for wrapped SUI on the Solana network. Phantom has stated it will waive its own platform fees for native SUI-to-wrapped SUI swaps until the transition date, though network and exchange fees will still apply. This move follows a similar decision to end support for the Monad network in August.
