Pharmaceutical companies Tonix and Telix report clinical and regulatory developments

Tonix Pharmaceuticals is focusing on the commercial launch of TONMYA, its FDA-approved treatment for adult fibromyalgia, while advancing development for Lyme disease prevention and transplant rejection. CEO Seth Lederman reported that TONMYA net sales grew from $3.7 million in the first quarter of 2026 to $11 million in the second quarter. The company has expanded its field force and secured contracts with major pharmacy benefit manager group purchasing organizations. A managed Medicare contract is expected to begin in January 2027.

Separately, Telix Pharmaceuticals announced that the US FDA has approved Pixclara (floretyrosine F 18) for imaging gliomas, a type of brain cancer, in both adult and pediatric patients. Pixclara is the first FET-PET imaging drug cleared for this use in the United States. The drug is intended to address diagnostic needs for approximately 24,000 new glioma cases annually in the US and is expected to assist clinicians in treatment decision-making.
