Pharmacies prioritize order management and delivery in laboratory relations

According to the latest AECOC Benchmarking Farma study, pharmacies identify order management and delivery quality as critical components of their relationships with pharmaceutical laboratories.

The study, which included 601 pharmacies, six major wholesalers, and 42 laboratories, highlights that service quality is a primary factor influencing these commercial ties. Key demands from pharmacies include minimizing discrepancies between ordered and received goods, ensuring products arrive in perfect condition, and utilizing agile, simple order management processes.

Additionally, pharmacies emphasize the need for rapid and efficient processing of returns and credits. On the commercial side, competitive conditions regarding discounts, minimum order quantities, and supply terms remain decisive factors in how pharmacies evaluate their providers.
