Takeover Code filings disclose positions by Man Group, Pharos Energy, Advanced Medical Solutions and AMG Critical Metals

Four UK‑listed companies filed regulatory disclosures under the Takeover Code in mid‑July 2026. Man Group PLC reported its opening positions and related trades concerning DCC plc, detailing holdings of €0.25 ordinary shares, cash‑settled and stock‑settled derivatives, and multiple sales transactions. Pharos Energy Plc submitted a Form 8.5 exemption filing that disclosed purchases of 52,613 ordinary shares at £26.188 and sales of 15,000 shares, along with derivative activity, by its exempt principal trader Shore Capital Stockbrokers Ltd. Octopus Investments Ltd, on behalf of Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc, disclosed a 5p ordinary share position totalling about 18.9 million shares (8.57%) and reported a sale of 200,000 shares at £6.66. Man Group PLC also filed a separate Form 8.3 for AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V., revealing an interest of roughly 993,055 ordinary shares (2.77%) and numerous derivative and trading activities. All filings were made to the Takeover Panel as required by the Code.
