Phaselis Ancient City sees rising tourism in Antalya

Phaselis Ancient City, located in the Kemer district of Antalya, continues to see high levels of interest from both domestic and international tourists. Following a record-breaking year in 2025, which saw 481,306 visitors, the site has become the most visited archaeological site in Antalya.

Kemer District Governor Ahmet Solmaz noted that the combination of historical ruins, pine forests, and the Mediterranean Sea offers a unique cultural tourism experience. Officials expect the 2026 visitor numbers to match or potentially exceed the previous year's record. Visitors are drawn to the site for the ability to experience nature and swim in the sea within the context of a thousand-year-old historical heritage.
