Phenix City made its debut in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, facing the Northwest champions from Tacoma, Washington. In the opening game on August 19, 2026, the Southeast team lost 2-0.

Pitcher Kinley Rasmus delivered a historic performance, recording eight strikeouts and tying a record for the most strikeouts by a girl in the tournament. Rasmus is the 25th girl to compete in the Little League World Series and comes from a prominent baseball family; her father, Cory Rasmus, and uncle, Colby Rasmus, both played in the Major Leagues. Her grandfather, Tony Rasmus, coached the Phenix City team that won the National Championship in 1999.

Phenix City is scheduled to play an elimination game on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
