Phi Phi Islands and Krabi offer limestone cliffs and diving

The Phi Phi Islands, located in the Andaman Sea within Thailand's Krabi province, are characterized by steep limestone cliffs and turquoise waters. The archipelago includes six islands, notably the inhabited Phi Phi Don and the uninhabited Ko Phi Phi Leh, which contains the famous Maya Bay. Much of the area is protected under the Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park.

Beyond the iconic coastal scenery, the region offers significant underwater activity. Divers using Ao Nang as a base can explore coral reefs, rocky pinnacles, and diverse marine life throughout the Andaman Sea. The area allows travelers to combine island hopping and beach activities with scuba diving and kayaking.
