Phil Collen and Jackson Guitars launch PC1-E Pro Series signature model

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen and Jackson Guitars have announced the release of the Pro Series Signature Phil Collen PC1-E. This marks the first time Collen’s longtime signature model has moved beyond the Custom Shop into the Pro Series.

The PC1-E features a mahogany body with a Worn Black distressed finish and gold hardware. The construction includes a graphite-reinforced, roasted maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, a 25.5-inch scale length, and a compound radius of 12–16 inches.

For electronics, the guitar is equipped with a DiMarzio X2N bridge humbucker, a DiMarzio Sugar Chakra middle pickup, and a Jackson PC1 Sustainer Driver in the neck position. It also includes a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo system for tuning stability during aggressive play.
