Phil Collins and Steven Wilson discuss Face Value reissue

Phil Collins has released a video of a conversation with Steven Wilson regarding the 45th anniversary of his debut solo album, Face Value. The discussion took place at the Odeon Luxe West End in London during the launch of a new reissue, which includes immersive audio mixes created by Wilson.

During the 45-minute interview, the artists discussed the production of the album and its various influences, specifically highlighting the jazz-fusion elements found on the first side of the record. The event was attended by several musical figures, including Guy Pratt and members of Wilson’s live band.

Separately, Steven Wilson is scheduled to participate in a conversation with Al Murray at Bush Hall in London on November 10. The discussion will focus on Wilson’s upcoming solo album, Requiem For A Village, a project designed to emphasize analog sounds and human imperfection.
