Phil Collins announces expanded reissue of debut album ‘Face Value’

Phil Collins is releasing an expanded reissue of his debut solo album, ‘Face Value’, titled ‘Face Value (Full Value)’. Scheduled for release on September 18, the four-LP set includes a remastered version of the original 1981 album along with three LPs of bonus material, such as rare live recordings, demos, and outtakes.

A recently released preview features an unreleased outtake of Collins’ experimental cover of The Beatles’ ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’. The reissue will also be available on Blu-ray with upgraded audio and will include a new interview with Collins in the liner notes.

The announcement comes ahead of Collins’ scheduled induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist this November. He was previously inducted as a member of Genesis in 2010.
