Phil Collins declares Taylor Swift fully deserves her massive success

Legendary singer Phil Collins, 75, appeared on BBC2’s "Tracks of My Years" with host Vernon Kay and praised pop star Taylor Swift, saying she “really deserves” the huge success she now enjoys. Collins recalled first seeing Swift perform "White Horse" at the Songwriters Hall of Fame, describing the stripped‑down guitar rendition as “blowing him away” and noting that she has earned her place at the top of the music world.

During the interview Collins also spoke about his own career, mentioning his upcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, his move to Switzerland, and his family, but the focus remained on his admiration for Swift’s talent and work ethic.
