Philadelphia 76ers eliminate Boston Celtics in historic Game 7 comeback

As the seventh seed, Philadelphia became only the 14th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 series deficit. Despite a late comeback attempt by the Celtics fueled by Jaylen Brown’s 33 points, Boston struggled with a 40 percent field goal shooting performance. The series follows a major offseason trade in which the Celtics acquired Paul George in exchange for Jaylen Brown, who joined the 76ers.
