Philadelphia Eagles failed to re-sign Andy Dalton

The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly attempted to re-sign quarterback Andy Dalton to bolster their roster following Jalen Hurts' placement on injured reserve due to a blood clot. However, Dalton declined the offer and is expected to sign with a different team shortly.

After Dalton's departure, the Eagles signed Joe Milton III from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad. The team's quarterback situation remains in flux with Hurts sidelined for at least four games; Tanner McKee has taken over as the starter, while rookie Cole Payton serves as the backup.
