Philadelphia Eagles resist trade interest in defensive tackle Moro Ojomo

The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly informed inquiring teams that defensive tackle Moro Ojomo is not available for trade ahead of the November 10 deadline. Despite the team's 2-5 record and recent injury struggles, the organization has signaled an intention to attempt to re-sign the 25-year-old.

Ojomo, a 2023 seventh-round pick, emerged as a significant rotational player following a successful 2024 championship campaign. During that season, he recorded career highs in pressures, tackles, sacks, and tackles for loss. The Eagles have recently secured major contract extensions for other defensive tackles, including Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis.

Separately, analysts have proposed potential blockbuster trades involving Eagles cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell. One proposal suggests the Eagles could trade either player to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a first-round pick, noting that both players are currently on rookie contracts.
