Philadelphia Eagles sign veteran cornerback Kenny Moore II

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed veteran cornerback Kenny Moore II to their practice squad. The 31-year-old joins the team following his release from the Indianapolis Colts, who let him go earlier this offseason in a salary-saving move after failing to find a trade partner.

Moore, a former Pro Bowl nickel cornerback, brings significant experience to the Eagles' secondary. During his tenure with the Colts, he played 132 games and recorded 21 interceptions. In his final season with Indianapolis, he appeared in 14 games, recording 55 tackles, one interception, and two forced fumbles.

Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is expected to utilize Moore in both nickel corner and safety roles to provide veteran depth behind younger players like Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
