Philadelphia Flyers announce roster moves including Garrett Wilson signing

The Philadelphia Flyers have made several roster adjustments as they finalize their lineup. The club signed veteran forward Garrett Wilson to a one-year, two-way contract with an $850,000 NHL cap hit. Wilson, 35, previously split time between the Flyers and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he served as captain.

In other moves, the Flyers assigned goaltender Aleksei Kolosov to the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms to ensure he receives consistent playing time. The goaltending depth for the Flyers currently includes Dan Vladar, Joseph Woll, and Yaniv Perets.

Additionally, defenseman David Jiricek is looking to establish a permanent NHL role following his acquisition. After spending time between the NHL and AHL last season, Jiricek showed effectiveness as a puck mover and power-play specialist during his recent stint with the Phantoms.
