Anaheim Ducks defeat Philadelphia Flyers 5-4

The Anaheim Ducks snapped a five-game losing streak with a 5-4 comeback victory over the Philadelphia Flyers at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Despite the Flyers taking an early 2-0 lead through power-play goals from Matvei Michkov and Porter Martone, Anaheim rallied in the second period.

Leo Carlsson, who was the subject of a historic $90 million offer sheet from Philadelphia last summer, played a pivotal role in the win. Carlsson scored a goal to ignite the comeback and provided the assist on Beckett Sennecke’s third-period power-play goal, which proved to be the game-winner. Other goals for the Ducks came from A.J. Greer, Judd Caulfield, and Tristan Luneau, while goaltender Lukas Dostal made 28 saves.

The Flyers' loss follows a period of inconsistent performance, though they have recently shown improved offensive output. In roster news, the Flyers activated defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen from injured reserve, though his availability for the game remained a game-time decision following a hand injury.
