Philadelphia Flyers lose 3-2 in overtime to Carolina Hurricanes

The Philadelphia Flyers suffered a 3-2 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, marking their third loss of the season. Despite a strong performance from goaltender Joseph Woll, who stopped 37 of 40 shots, the team struggled to maintain offensive pressure after early goals from Owen Tippett and Matvei Michkov.

The Hurricanes secured the win via an overtime goal from Shayne Gostisbehere. The loss was compounded by an injury to defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen, who left the game in the second period after being struck by a shot block and did not return.

Joseph Woll, who recently joined the Flyers from the Toronto Maple Leafs, was selected to start back-to-back games following a high-save performance against the New Jersey Devils.
