Philadelphia historical actors expand programming for America 250

As part of the America 250 celebrations, Historic Philadelphia, Inc. has expanded its programming to engage visitors through first-person historical interpretations. The organization nearly doubled its cast to approximately 60 actors to meet the anticipated influx of tourists in Philadelphia's Old City.

Actors portraying historical figures, such as Betsy Ross and John Adams, participate in various public events to share the stories of America's founding. The troupe's mission focuses on telling the stories of everyday people and underrepresented Philadelphians who contributed to the building of the city and the country.
