Philadelphia hosts cultural events and historical museum visits

Philadelphia is hosting various cultural and historical events and attractions. The Mütter Museum, part of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, offers a specialized collection of medical history, including preserved organs, skeletons, and medical instruments originally donated by Dr. Thomas Dent Mütter in 1859.

Other local activities include a community expo at the Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts celebrating its 50th anniversary and significant moments in American history. Additionally, Franklin Square will feature a sculpture by Alana Bograd honoring Robert Cornelius, who captured the world’s first selfie in Philadelphia in 1839.
