Philadelphia Phillies players use golf challenge for fantasy football draft

Philadelphia Phillies players used a golf challenge at Citizens Bank Park to determine their annual fantasy football draft order. To ensure safety and avoid ricochets, players Trea Turner and Garrett Stubbs scouted the stadium before selecting a handicapped seating area in the 300 level.

The Phillies' grounds crew assisted by temporarily removing a railing to provide a clear hitting area. Approximately four and a half hours before a Friday game, about a dozen players participated in the competition, aiming golf balls toward a trash can positioned in center field. Kyle Schwarber secured the top spot in the draft order, followed by Bryson Stott and Garrett Stubbs.
