Philadelphia Union ends winless streak with 3-1 win over New York Red Bulls

The Philadelphia Union snapped an eight‑game winless run by defeating the New York Red Bulls 3‑1 at Chester, Pennsylvania. Milan Iloski opened the scoring in the ninth minute, Indiana Vassilev restored the lead in the 57th, and substitute Neil Pierre netted his first career goal a minute later to seal the victory.

The win lifted the Union from a 2‑10‑4 record and gave them their first three points since April. The Red Bulls, sitting eighth in the MLS Eastern Conference, look to rebound ahead of their next match against Charlotte FC, with coach Michael Bradley urging the team to learn from the defeat.
