Philadelphia Union host Real Salt Lake amid historic unbeaten run

The Philadelphia Union are preparing to host Real Salt Lake following a historic 12-game unbeaten run in Major League Soccer. Under interim head coach Ryan Richter, the Union have climbed from the bottom of the league standings to sixth in the Eastern Conference, collecting 32 points during this stretch—a figure that ties an MLS record for a 12-game span.

Real Salt Lake enters the match seeking to maintain momentum after snapping a 13-match winless streak with a 3-0 victory over the New England Revolution. Despite the recent win, RSL faces significant roster challenges due to injuries to Diego Luna, Emeka Eneli, and three centerbacks. The club will rely on forward Sergi Solans and Guinean international Morgan Guilavogui to bolster their attack as they attempt to secure a wild card play-in spot.
