Philadelphia Union teams split results with draw and loss

The Philadelphia Union played to a 1-1 draw against Austin FC in Texas. Cavan Sullivan opened the scoring for the Union in the 18th minute with a header following a corner kick. However, Austin FC equalized just three minutes later when Brendan Hines-Ike scored from a corner. Despite several chances for both sides, including shots hitting the woodwork, the match ended in a stalemate.

In separate action, Philadelphia Union II suffered a 2-4 defeat against CT United FC. After conceding four goals in the first half, Union II attempted a comeback with two second-half goals from Stas Korzeniowski. The loss leaves Union II five points away from a playoff spot with four matches remaining in the season.
