Philanthropic groups provide educational and community support in Vietnam
Various philanthropic initiatives are providing support to students and communities across Vietnam. In An Giang province, the Phoenix Foundation, founded by Nguyen Bao Hoang and Nguyen Thanh Phuong, donated over 1.6 billion VND to Van Khanh Primary School. The donation funded an 800 m2 artificial turf football pitch and a 160 m2 covered swimming pool. The pool is intended to teach swimming skills to students in the river-dense region to prevent drowning.
In Khanh Hoa province, the Khanh Vinh Group donated 200 million VND to the provincial study encouragement fund to assist students in difficult circumstances. The group has also previously supported education in highland areas, including donating computers to students at Bac Ai Tay Primary School to improve digital literacy.
