Philanthropic initiatives launched in Nigeria by Deji Adeyanju Foundation and Mike Adenuga

The Deji Adeyanju Foundation has launched an empowerment initiative titled “Empowering the Next Generation of Nigerian Entrepreneurs.” The program aims to provide 50 students from Nigerian tertiary institutions with mentorship, entrepreneurial skills, and resources to foster sustainable business development and economic growth. The inaugural cohort is scheduled for November 1, 2026.

Separately, business leader Mike Adenuga, founder of Globacom Limited, continues philanthropic efforts through his foundation. His previous contributions include a ₦1 billion donation to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund to enhance security infrastructure, as well as significant financial support during the COVID-19 pandemic, including ₦1 billion to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Private Sector Coalition against COVID-19 and ₦500 million to the Lagos State Government.
