Philipp Horn discusses career success and biathlon changes

German biathlete Philipp Horn is reflecting on the most successful season of his career following his first World Cup podium finish and a near-miss for an Olympic medal. During the German Championships in Notschrei, where he won three medals including two gold, Horn discussed the evolving dynamics of the sport.

Horn noted that increased competition is making the sport more exciting for fans but more challenging for athletes. He also commented on the German team's new training approach, which integrates the A- and B-squads to foster better development and motivation among younger athletes. Beyond competition, Horn is also working on a hotel project in Oberhof.
