Philipp Kurashev signs with Lausanne HC

Lausanne HC has secured the signing of national forward Philipp Kurashev for the 2026/27 season. The 27-year-old joins the club following his departure from the San Jose Sharks, bringing extensive experience from 360 NHL games, including 55 goals and 95 assists.

The contract includes an option for an additional season, but features an NHL exit clause that allows Kurashev to return to North American professional hockey. The announcement was made during Lausanne's 5-2 home victory against EHC Kloten.

Kurashev, a former SCB junior and 2024 World Championship silver medalist, is expected to strengthen the team's offense and power play without occupying a foreign player slot. Sport director John Fust described the signing as a vital component for the club's sporting project.
