Philippine Airlines announces new routes and service resumptions

Philippine Airlines is expanding its international network through new service launches and the resumption of previously suspended routes.

Pending approval from the Indian government, the airline plans to launch new services connecting Australia to Delhi and Mumbai via Manila starting in December 2026. The plan includes three weekly flights to Delhi and four weekly flights to Mumbai. These routes, operated using Airbus A321neo aircraft, will allow Australian travelers to connect through Manila to various destinations, including Los Angeles and Vancouver.

Additionally, the airline will resume nonstop flights between Manila and Dubai on October 2, 2026. This service, which was suspended for over seven months due to regional security concerns and airspace restrictions in the Middle East, will initially operate four times a week. The resumption aims to support travelers, including overseas Filipino workers, and cargo movement between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.
