Philippine Airlines to launch daily Manila-Melbourne flights
Philippine Airlines (PAL) is increasing its service frequency between Manila and Melbourne, moving from five weekly flights to daily operations. The expanded schedule is set to begin in late November 2026, timed to accommodate the high demand of the year-end holiday travel season.
Under the new timetable, flight PR209 will depart Manila at 8:20 PM and arrive in Melbourne at 7:30 AM the following day, while flight PR210 will depart Melbourne at 9:20 AM and arrive in Manila at 2:25 PM. This expansion brings PAL’s total Australian operations to 24 non-stop weekly flights, which includes daily services to Brisbane and Sydney, and three weekly flights to Perth.
The increased frequency is intended to provide greater flexibility for travelers and improved cargo capacity to support trade between the Philippines and Australia. The announcement coincides with the airline’s 55th anniversary of service to Melbourne, a route it has operated since 1971.
