Philippine authorities seize suspected shabu in Albay and Bohol operations

Law enforcement authorities in the Philippines conducted two separate drug enforcement operations in Albay and Bohol, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of suspected shabu.

In Oas, Albay, police arrested a high-value individual identified as ‘Brader’ during a buy-bust operation on August 10. Authorities seized 500 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of PHP 3.4 million. The operation involved a poseur-buyer who initially purchased 100 grams before additional quantities were discovered during a search.

In Tagbilaran City, Bohol, a joint operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police dismantled a suspected drug den on August 11. Three individuals were taken into custody, including a suspected maintainer. Officers recovered approximately 57 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱387,600, along with various drug paraphernalia.
