Philippine bus crashes kill two and injure six

In Silay City, Negros Occidental, a Ceres bus sideswiped a sedan taxi on June 1, 2026. The taxi collided with an electric bicycle, killing a three‑year‑old girl. On June 16, 2026, a bus in Baguio City rammed into a parked six‑wheeler truck loaded with chicken manure on Marcos Highway. An adult male bus conductor from Urdaneta, Pangasinan, was pronounced dead, and six other occupants were injured. Police and fire responders transported the victims to hospital, and the incident is now under investigation by the Baguio Traffic Enforcement Unit.
