Philippine developers and agencies expand Expanded 4PH housing program

Five major Philippine property developers—Megawide Construction Corp., Ayala Land Inc., SM Development Corporation, Filinvest Land Inc., and Robinsons Land Corporation—have signed memorandums of understanding with the Pag-IBIG Fund. This collaboration supports the government’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) program, which aims to increase the supply of quality, affordable housing for qualified members.

Under these agreements, participating developers will offer preferential rates and incentives for housing units in select projects. Two additional developers are expected to formalize their participation within the week.

In a separate move to bolster the initiative, the Pag-IBIG Fund has partnered with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). This partnership seeks to utilize BCDA-owned land to develop affordable and mixed-income housing, specifically targeting workers near the business and industrial districts of New Clark City. The collaboration aims to combine government land and infrastructure with affordable financing to make homeownership more attainable for Filipino workers.
