Philippine enterprise leaders focus on AI production at VST ECS summit

At the 9th Annual VST ECS CXO Tech Summit held in Boracay, Philippine technology leaders gathered to discuss transitioning artificial intelligence from experimental pilot stages to full-scale operational production.

Jimmy Go, President and CEO of VST ECS Phils. Inc., noted that leading organizations are now embedding AI into daily workflows, including customer service, credit scoring, demand forecasting, document processing, and software development. Go emphasized that technology has evolved from a supporting department to being central to the business itself.

The summit highlighted several challenges facing digital roadmaps, including a global supply shortage of high-performance memory and enterprise storage driven by AI demand. Additionally, domestic organizations must navigate stricter regulatory compliance regarding data residency and sovereignty under Executive Order 119.
