Philippine public servants hold fun runs for Civil Service Anniversary

Public servants across different regions of the Philippines participated in fun runs to celebrate the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

In Kalinga, over 400 government employees competed in 3K, 5K, and 10K categories during an event held in Bulanao. Organized by the Provincial Government of Kalinga and the City Government of Tabuk, the race aimed to promote health among workers. Governor James S. Edduba emphasized that maintaining good health is essential for delivering effective public service.

In Pangasinan, the Lingkod Bayani Fun Run took place along the Lingayen Gulf baywalk. The event was organized by the Civil Service Commission in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Pangasinan. Pangasinan State University co-sponsored the activity, which drew more than a thousand participants to promote wellness, unity, and active citizenship within the public service workforce.
