President Marcos awards land titles to Caloocan families
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the distribution of land titles to 110 families in Barangay 167, Llano, Caloocan City, as part of the administration’s expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program. The initiative, facilitated through the Social Housing Finance Corp. (SHFC) Enhanced Community Mortgage Program, aims to provide affordable financing to organized community associations to secure land ownership for residents of informal settlements.
This event follows a large-scale rollout on September 13, where 913 land titles were distributed in San Juan City. The beneficiaries in Caloocan represent the Llano Homeowners Association Federation, a coalition of several local housing associations.
During the ceremony, President Marcos reaffirmed that addressing the shortage of socialized and low-cost housing is a top priority for his administration. He emphasized the importance of providing secure tenure to help Filipino families achieve stability and long-term security.
