In basketball, the Gilas Pilipinas squad has arrived in Aichi Prefecture to compete in Pool C against Bahrain, Kazakhstan, and China. Following recent losses in friendly matches against South Korea, Coach Tim Cone and player Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser emphasized the need for team cohesion and preparation as they aim to defend their previous gold medal status.
