Philippines ranks fifth globally in AI readiness for outsourcing

The Philippines has ranked fifth globally in the 2026 Global Outsourcing AI Readiness Index published by Ataraxis. The nation scored 69.05 out of 100, placing it ahead of most Southeast Asian competitors and trailing only India, Brazil, Malaysia, and Hungary.

A key strength for the Philippines is its workforce AI literacy, where it tied with Brazil for second place among the top 25 outsourcing destinations. The country's score in this category is higher than any other destination in Europe, Africa, or Latin America.

In tandem with these industry trends, Speech AI company Sanas is expanding its operations in the Philippines. To support this growth, Sanas has appointed Jack Madrid, the current President and CEO of the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), as its Philippines Ambassador. The company aims to leverage local talent to integrate AI into customer experience services.
