Philippines releases official 2027 holiday calendar
Malacañang has released the official list of regular holidays and special non-working days for 2027 through Proclamation No. 1427.
Regular holidays for 2027 include New Year’s Day (January 1), Maundy Thursday (March 25), Good Friday (March 26), Araw ng Kagitingan (April 9), Labor Day (May 1), Independence Day (June 12), National Heroes Day (August 30), Bonifacio Day (November 30), Christmas Day (December 25), and Rizal Day (December 30).
Special non-working days include Chinese New Year (February 6), Black Saturday (March 27), Ninoy Aquino Day (August 21), All Saints’ Day (November 1), All Souls’ Day (November 2), Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary (December 8), Christmas Eve (December 24), and the last day of the year (December 31).
The EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary on February 25 is designated as a special working day. The specific dates for Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will be declared separately based on the Islamic lunar calendar following recommendations from the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
